Oren Eini, pseudonym Ayende Rahien, is a frequent blogger at ayende.com has over 15 years of experience in the development world who strongly focuses on the Microsoft and .NET ecosystem. Oren has been recognized and awarded Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional since 2007.

He’s an internationally acclaimed presenter appearing at DevTeach, JAOO, QCon, Oredev, NDC, Yow! and Progressive.NET conferences, sharing his knowledge via conferences and written works such as “DSLs in Boo: Domain Specific Languages in .NET”, published by Manning and now another book in the writings “Inside RavenDB”

He remains dedicated and focused on architecture and best practices that promote quality software and zero-friction development.

Igal Merhavia, once a marine biologist, has emerged from the depths of understanding zebra fish genome code to the heights of developing the Raven.

He likes to drink coffee – especially while coding. Unsurprisingly, he loves to go kitesurfing in his spare time.

Paweł is an experienced software development enthusiast that is working in the industry since 2009 and has joined RavenDB team in 2012. Paweł spent pre-RavenDB period writing applications for e-Goverment sector in the USA.

Currently he leads RavenDB team in Poland and enjoys working on server-side and solving non-trivial problems in particular.

Omer Ratsaby is a software engineer and automation performance developer for RavenDB. Omer is an avid animal lover and sports enthusiast. When not playing with his Dutch Shepherd, he can be found cheering on his beloved football team – Borussia Dortmund or pumping iron at the gym. Omer is also a tech-savvy individual, always on the lookout for the latest innovations in the world of technology.

Lev is a software developer in the Hibernating Rhinos’ backend development team. He loves everything about high-tech — gadgets, robots, IoT, and, of course, software development. Besides that, as a family man, he loves to cook and is pretty good at it!

Efrat Shenhar works on the Hibernating Rhinos’ development team as a software developer. Her academic education and past experience makes her a perfect fit for our young and dynamic team. Shenhar graduated from the Technion – Israel Technology Institute with a B.Sc. in Computer Science, and boasts experience in reading, analyzing and converting DVBT/TS streams, in addition to having worked with Linux and Unix systems.

Efrat is married, loves to bake, play tennis and create new games for her pets.

Avi Friedman has vast experience in Account Management and Sales across the globe. Avi Brings detailed knowledge across multiple industries relevant to the current “Automation Revolution”.
At Hibernating Rhinos Avi is responsible for helping customers use the latest technology in Database Management so they can innovate more quickly to transform and scale their businesses 🙂

Ronit is a senior bookkeeper. She brings to Hibernating Rhinos a wealth of experience working with international import and export companies. Along with her passion for work, Ronit loves to travel throughout Israel, see the world, and have lots of fun with her closest friends.

Gracjan is a student of Applied IT at Nicolaus Copernicus University and a Junior Software Developer in the Hibernating Rhinos team. Due to his passion for software programming, he has developed skills in areas such as Python and .NET. He is an experienced mathematics teacher and enjoys explaining complex stuff in the simplest ways to his students.
A certified music lover, Gracjan is addicted to listening. He likes almost every possible music genre – from the ambients to hip-hop to hyperpop – and loves to discuss different artists.

Damian is an applied computer science student. He really enjoys developing applications from both the front-end and back-end. In his free time, he likes skateboarding, playing chess, and watching animated comedy series.

If one word had to describe Danielle, it would probably be diversity. After achieving her degree in mathematics and computer science from Haifa University, she has collected a variety of certifications and a wide range of experience in .NET programming, automation development and Web & GUI development. Danielle is a professional who likes nothing more than to learn new technologies and solve logical challenges. She has worked with some of the leading companies in Israel, many of them global powerhouses, and now she is part of RavenDB’s Studio team.

Natalia is a certified Data Analyst with strong analytical and technical skills.
She is really passionate about processing data with attention to detail and accuracy.
She has a BS degree in economics and a solid background working with international financial reports.
In her spare time, she prefers to spend time with her family. She also likes doing yoga and cooking delicious food.

Bartosz is a Junior .Net Cloud Developer for RavenDB. Currently studying Applied Computer Science at Nicolaus Copernicus University, he believes automation is the key to great success. He loves to spend his free time reading fantasy books and playing FPS games.

Rafal is a graphic designer and a CSS expert. Experienced in animation, web and print design. Searches for a perfect blend of design and practicality. His favorite colors range from #000 to #FFF. Loves design, typography, gadgets, sci-fi and fantasy. Finds inspiration in music.

Łukasz has been developing his passion for software programming for several years. He works on HibernatingRhinos’ development team as a software developer. Łukasz enjoys both the intricacies of the back-end world as well as the nuances of the front-end architecture. He eagerly delves into a wide range of problem-solving tasks while aiming to deliver maintainable solutions. Łukasz loves classical music with particular focus on the eighteenth and nineteenth century piano repertoire.

Dalia Globus Gamrian has a long time experience in administration issues. At Hibernating Rhinos she mainly takes care of the welfare & manpower side of the company. She loves helping people and take care of the employees happiness (-:

Krzysztof is a computer science student and backend developer for RavenDB.
In his spare time, he loves going to the cinema, learning about space technologies, and playing the drums.
He can’t imagine a day without listening to music.

Grisha has several years of experience in Java and .Net programming, graduated from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Computer Science. Today at Hibernating Rhinos he ‘s part of the core development team working on new features and enhancements for RavenDB. He loves development, loves to start from scratch and watch what the results are in the end.

To see and travel the world, absorbing nature and cross boarder cultures has been a base to inspiring this thoughts and work.

Maciej works on the Hibernating Rhinos development team as a software developer. He enjoys working on algorithms, low-level code, and performance issues. 
During college, he spent a lot of time doing competitive programming, so he loves solving problems that RavenDB is facing.
 
He is a passionate angler and coffee freak, and he loves to read reportage.

Egor is a software developer who works on back and front end of the Hibernating Rhinos Development team. A hard worker, he has a Bsc in Software Engineering from the Shamoon College of Engineering in southern Israel.

Egor is married and loves playing and watching streams.

Shahar Hikri is a software engineer and backend developer for RavenDB. In his spare time, he loves going to the beach and listening to music.

Itai leads the Creative Strategy team at RavenDB. He is a passionate marketer with 20 years of experience in various industries; tech, foodtech, CPG’s, and cleantech. Itai led the digital and creative efforts of SodaStream which led to a $3.2B acquisition by Pepsico. A huge “The Office” fan, though there’s no place like home for Itai.

Fresh out of college, and with a B.Sc. degree from Ben-Gurian University of Be’er Sheva in hand, Aviv is a welcome addition to Hibernating Rhinos’ core development team. His past achievements involved robotics, computational vision and AI. Add all that to his motivation and out-of-the-box thinking, he is sure to make his mark on RavenDB products. In addition to his technical prowess, Aviv likes to play the guitar and take nature hikes – and rumors abound about his well-developed culinary skills…

Reeb is our technical writer. When he is not squeezing information out of defenseless developers, he is sharpening his tactics in one of his daily Kung-Fu lessons. He’s also a Shiatsu so once he breaks a developer for not having the docs in time, he can fix him up so they can write the new material for the next version of RavenDB.

He does all kinds of normal stuff, like developing and integrating strange machines from a long gone era in time – the eighties! His great love has always been writing, fortunate for us!

Marcin is a R&D specialist who has worked in the industry since 2009 and joined RavenDB team in 2013. He is a well-trained developer with dozens of complex projects completed in the past and an author of Java client for RavenDB.

Currently Marcin maintains Java client, Studio and the server-side of RavenDB.

Grzegorz is an experienced software developer working in the industry since 2009 and is now part of the RavenDB team. As a skilled web developer, he believes that the name of the game is all about automation and creating incredible user interfaces.

On a private note he’s a techno geek, sci-fi addict, music lover and a father of three.

Elemar is well known for writing and speaking about advanced topics on software development, design and software architecture. He has over 15 years of experience and is focused on the Microsoft ecosystem. He has been recognized and awarded Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional since 2011.

Arkadiusz is a senior software developer that joined the world of software development in 2010 and RavenDB team in 2012. He gained experience by developing other sophisticated Hibernating Rhinos solutions.

Now as a member of a RavenDB team he is taking care of server-side issues and enjoys solving concurrency problems.

Yonatan is a Computer Science student at Reichman University who loves solving algorithmic problems.
In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, watching old movies and TV shows, and practicing calisthenics skills daily.

Juliette is our Marketing Coordinator. In her free time she enjoys contemporary art, hiking with her family and practicing yoga 🙂

Ofra is part of our Marketing & Sales team. She brings to Hibernating Rhinos over 8 years experience in marketing, operations and project management for global high-tech companies. She graduated the University of Haifa with a double degree in English Literature and Language & Asian Studies, majoring in Chinese.

She is very passionate about learning new technologies and meeting new people from different cultures. She enjoys the outdoors, culinary arts, and more than anything – being with her family.

Itay is a junior developer in Hibernating Rhinos. In his free time he likes to workout, watch tv shows, and hang out with his friends.

David is RavenDB’s Head of Global Sales.
With over twenty years in the Israel/Global High-Tech ecosystem, he brings extensive sales and customer success experience in a wide range of industries.
David specializes in helping organizations adopt valuable business solutions to their business challenges.
He’s been privileged to work and learn with exceptional decision-makers, mentors, colleagues, and business partners, and now it’s our privilege to work with him.

Mateusz has been interested in graphic design for years, starting with simple, personal projects. He always tries to convey the most important content in eye-catching, minimalistic form.

After working hours he loves to watch some TV series, take long walks, listen to music (literally any genre, from indie to pop-punk), or chill out on the couch and play some video games.

A dedicated computer science student who loves to learn from challenges and the magic that he feels when the code works. After work, he practices acrobatics, shoots hoops, and participates in a live theater. Oh, and did we mention he’s a dog lover? With two pups by his side, Aharon is never without loyal companionship. Whether he’s researching, coding up a storm, or performing a backflip, Aharon always brings enthusiasm and creativity to the table.

Almog is Hibernating Rhinos’s office manager. Almog specializes in managing and leading teams and projects. She brings 6 years of experience in system management and leading work plans to the company. Almog believes in a positive “can do” attitude. The well-being and the success of the employees in the company is at the top of her priorities. In her spare time she enjoys working out and cooking. She also enjoys reading books about science and space.

Federico is co-founder of Corvalius a R&D company specialized in machine learning, computer vision and performance. His background is in massive parallel computing (CPU and GPU alike), signal processing and low-level optimization. It’s fair to say he enjoys reading in binary and tinker with registers and caches.

Dejan is a consultant with more than 20 years of experience as a professional software developer. His areas of expertise are designing, writing, and maintaining applications, with a focus on software architecture and backend development.

His passion for RavenDB goes back to 2015 when he started using it for small hobby projects and quickly realized its utility in a wide range of applications.

Dejan is a Developer Advocate with RavenDB.

Experienced in Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Financial Reporting and Analysis.  I’ve had the privilege to work in an array of industries from Investment Banking, Entertainment, Textile, Broadband to Hi-tech. A great extent of my life and work experience has been about moving beyond my comfort zone handling the unknown through hard work, dedication and persistence to acquire self- fulling growth. I love spending time with my family and the great outdoors.
